Dr. Timothy O’Neill
Dr. O’Neill loves living and working in Myrtle Beach!
Dr. O`Neill was born and raised in Greensburg, PA near Pittsburgh. That probably explains why he is such a big Steelers fan! He is very excited that his Sixburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl again in 2009! It was one of the most exciting Super bowls ever!
He received his undergraduate education at Grove City College in Grove City, PA. He attended Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, SC, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in September, 1985. After completing his State Board Exam and receiving his license, he immediately began his practice in January of 1986. In November of 1993, he moved his practice from Business 17 in Surfside Beach to his brand new office on Highway 544, between Surfside Beach and Socastee.
Dr. O`Neill has received post-graduate certifications in physiological therapeutics, impairment rating, and radiology. He is the only Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) in Horry county, and he takes care of many athletes including gymnasts, runners, football and rugby players, and of course golfers!
Dr. O`Neill is the Past-President of the Surfside Area Rotary Club, and was named the “2002-2003 Rotarian of the Year”. He is also a graduate of Leadership Grand Strand, and the former President of the Surfside Beach Area Business and Professional Association. He has held many offices in the South Carolina Chiropractic Association, including District Director, Board Member and Vice-President. He has been a featured speaker at many chiropractic conferences throughout the country, as far away as California.
Doctor O`Neill loves his community and his job. “I think Myrtle Beach is a great place to work and live- there is so much to do, and we have such great weather. I miss the colored leaves and cool fall weather up north, but I don`t miss the snow (except for skiing!). I love having the opportunity to care for such nice people, and seeing their health improve is so rewarding! Working with Cassie is really great fun! I can`t think of anything I`d rather be doing!”
He and his wife, Cindy, have become avid ballroom dancers, and really enjoy doing that together. He has also become an avid woodworker. They have four beautiful daughters, Mandy, Kristy, Jessie and Nicole.
